Pastor Aguirre received his Ministers License in 1984 in Germany while pastoring a military church in Hanau, Germany. Upon returning to Fort Ord, CA in the United States in 1987, he started a fellowship group that grew into The Revival Center Of Marina, United Pentecostal Church, located in Marina, CA. From there Pastor Aguirre moved to Madison in 1989 and began attending Calvary Gospel Church under Pastor John Grant. Pastor Aguirre got involved in teaching Home Fellowship Groups as well as Sunday School and Youth Classes. Pastor Aguirre even volunteered to coach the Boy's Basketball & Girl's Volleyball teams for Calvary Christian Academy.
In March 2002, the Spanish work at Calvary Gospel Church, Voces Unidas, was started under the direction of Pastor Aguirre. Since 2002, Voces Unidas has grown from 16 people in the first service to approximately 120 members in five years.
A scripture that carried much meaning with Pastor Aguirre is 1 Samuel 30:6 "And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God."
